• My routes, bookmarked routes, and offline maps now all found in a convenient ‘Saved’ tab
• The app can now be viewed in light or dark mode, depending on your system settings

• When plotting a route, you can now reverse route direction

Creating a route just got a whole lot easier, we’ve heard your feedback of the frustrations of only being able to snap to path when plotting a route in National Parks in GB when using the OS Leisure topographic mapping, and in this release we’ve now made it possible to snap to path any where in GB when plotting a route!
So now you can use snap to path to plot routes on OS Leisure topographic mapping from your doorstep to make it easier to get outside.

In this latest release, we’ve introduced improvements to finding and creating routes:
- When creating a route, you will now be able to move and edit a waypoint to adjust a plotted route
- By tapping a waypoint on a route, you will then be able to add a title and further information to the waypoint. This will then appear as a key waypoint on the route summary
- When following a route, if a key waypoint is coming up, you will receive a push notification. This can be turned on or off in the preferences
- You can turn the visibility of key waypoints on/off for a route in the the ‘options’ menu when viewing a route
- Written reviews can now be added to routes
- Photos can now be added to reviews which will appear in the summary of the route
- Photos and reviews can be reported by all users
- When viewing a route, you will be able to see the breakdown of the ratings it’s received and view all reviews

ACTIVITY RECORDING
• An 'Activity' is a mapped record of where you've walked, run or ridden.
• You can now record an Activity whilst following a Route.
• Routes show you where to go, while Activities record where you’ve been.
• Activity Recording replaces the old ‘Route Recording’ function. Unlike recorded Routes, Activities save duration and average speed.
• You can view your recorded Activities in the updated “My Activities” area (via the Menu).

The ‘Find Routes’ screen has been refreshed to make it much easier to use – it now includes all the new activity types (road cycling, off-road cycling, horse riding and paddling*). We’ve also updated the imperial elevation units to show feet rather than yards and made a lot of minor bug fixes and design tweaks (including improvements to updating your distance when following a route).
*We’re working on adding more routes for the new activity types, but if you’ve got some good ones then please do add them for other users to enjoy!
